Hundreds Join Idaho Procession Through Coeur d’Alene Streets

Hundreds of residents lined and marched through the streets of Coeur d’Alene as part of a community procession honoring the Memorial Day observance. The event drew a large turnout from across the North Idaho community, reflecting the area’s strong tradition of paying tribute to fallen service members.

Coeur d’Alene has long been known for its civic pride and deep respect for military veterans and those who have given their lives in service to the country. Community gatherings of this kind remain a hallmark of the Kootenai County region each Memorial Day weekend.

The procession through downtown Coeur d’Alene brought together families, veterans’ groups, and community members in a public display of remembrance. North Idaho communities consistently rank among the most active in the state when it comes to honoring military service and sacrifice.
