COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — The Downtown Coeur d’Alene Association is bringing back its popular annual Winefest this Saturday, April 18, giving North Idaho residents and visitors a chance to explore local and regional wines paired with gourmet food from some of the area’s best-known restaurants. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., with check-in located at the Plaza Shops at 210 E. Sherman Avenue in the heart of downtown Coeur d’Alene.

A Celebration of Local Business in Downtown Coeur d’Alene

The Downtown Coeur d’Alene Association describes Winefest as a community-focused event designed to connect locals with the businesses, flavors, and atmosphere that define the downtown corridor. Seventeen participating locations will offer curated wine and food pairings throughout the afternoon, showcasing the diversity of Kootenai County’s dining and retail scene.

Chefs from several well-known local establishments are participating in the pairings, including Honey Eatery & Social Club, Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery, and Twigs Bistro. Beyond the food and wine, attendees can enjoy live music at tasting locations, permanent jewelry and tattoo services at CDA Garment District, a photobooth at Quiksilver Studios, and exclusive in-store promotions and giveaways along the event route.

Emily Boyd, Executive Director of the Downtown Coeur d’Alene Association, emphasized the community value of the event. “Winefest offers our local community an opportunity to come together while experiencing everything our businesses have to offer,” Boyd said. “It’s the perfect time to connect, explore and support locally owned businesses in the heart of our community.”
