Les Schwab Tire Center is expanding its footprint in Post Falls with a new location opening July 29 at 1656 N. Nicholson Center. The 11,000-square-foot facility marks the tire retailer’s second store in Post Falls and its fourth new Idaho location opened in 2026, signaling continued growth in the North Idaho market.
The new store features nine interior service bays equipped to handle oil changes, alignment work, and suspension services alongside tire sales and installation. Joel Poffenberger, the store’s manager, said the expansion reflects the company’s commitment to the community. “I’m excited to be able to expand our world-class customer service in the Post Falls community,” Poffenberger said. “Our goal is to be more than a place people come for tires and vehicle service. We want to be a trusted neighbor, build relationships with our customers and help keep people safe on the road.”

The opening comes as Kootenai County continues to see commercial development activity. The Post Falls location represents retail confidence in the region’s economy and growing population in the Panhandle.
