Coeur d’Alene Elks Lodge Golf Tournament Returns Aug. 7 to Benefit Lodge Remodel

Coeur d’Alene Elks Lodge No. 1254 is hosting its second annual benefit golf tournament on Aug. 7 at The Links Golf Club in Post Falls, with proceeds earmarked for renovations to the lodge’s longtime home on West Prairie Avenue.

Tournament Details

The event uses a four-person scramble format. Check-in begins at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Entry is $500 per team of four, which covers golf, cart, and lunch. Competitors will also have a shot at additional prizes for long drive and closest-to-the-pin.

Supporting a North Idaho Institution

All proceeds go toward remodeling the Elks lodge at 1170 W. Prairie Ave. in Coeur d’Alene, where the organization has operated for nearly three decades. The fundraiser builds on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament as the lodge works to update its facilities for members and the broader community.

North Idaho has a busy summer sports calendar underway — local athletes recently headed to Spokane for the 37th Annual Hoopfest 3-on-3 Tournament, and the Coeur d’Alene Lumbermen earned a runner-up finish at a Utah Legion Baseball Tournament this month.

How to Get Involved

Teams of four interested in participating should plan to arrive at The Links Golf Club in Post Falls by 7 a.m. on Aug. 7. The $500 team registration includes all day-of amenities. Those interested in supporting the lodge remodel can contact Coeur d’Alene Elks Lodge No. 1254 directly for registration information.
