Submission Guidelines
Contributors are asked to provide specific details regarding each veteran’s service record. Required information includes the branch of service, years served, locations of deployment, and personal memories from their time in uniform. The section aims to recognize those who received high military awards, including the Medal of Honor, Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, and Purple Heart.
Community Resources
In addition to individual tributes, the publication is gathering information on local service organizations and resources available to veterans and their families. This effort seeks to highlight support networks within the Kootenai County community alongside personal narratives of sacrifice and duty.
All materials for the November 11 edition must be sent via email to the designated submission address. The special section will appear in print on Veterans Day, offering a dedicated platform to acknowledge the contributions of Idaho’s military community.
