Road improvements to impact Seltice Way in Post Falls this summer

Drivers traveling along Seltice Way in Post Falls should plan for significant traffic disruptions this summer as the city undertakes a series of road and utility improvement projects. Work is scheduled to run from June 1 through August 20, affecting the corridor between McGuire Road and Chase Road.

According to the city of Post Falls, construction crews will be installing a reclaimed water line, upgrading storm infrastructure, and completing frontage improvements along the north side of Seltice Way. To accommodate the work, both westbound lanes will be shut down, with all two-way traffic redirected to the south side of the roadway.

City officials say access to local businesses and nearby side streets will be maintained throughout the construction period, though drivers should expect delays and plan alternate routes where possible.

The Seltice Way project is one of several roadway disruptions affecting Post Falls and the broader Kootenai County area this season. Rolling lane closures are also underway in the Pinevilla 2nd Addition area of Post Falls, and major traffic impacts are expected along Interstate 90 in Coeur d’Alene as infrastructure work continues across the region.

What Comes Next

Motorists are encouraged to check with the city of Post Falls for updated road closure information as the project progresses. The work is expected to wrap up by late August, restoring normal traffic flow along this busy North Idaho corridor ahead of the fall season.
