Kootenai County Senior and School Meal Menus for the Week of July 6

Several meal programs across Kootenai County — including senior dining sites serving Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, and surrounding North Idaho communities — have menus and reservation details set for the week of July 6 through July 10, 2026.

Reservation Rules and Transportation

Most lunch programs operate by reservation only, with meals served at noon. Reservations must be made no later than 11 a.m. the day before attendance. For Tuesday lunches, call the Friday prior; for Thursday lunches, call on Monday. Sign-in with the registrar is required by 11:55 a.m. on the day of the meal.

If you need to cancel, notify the site by 10 a.m. on the day of the meal. Transportation within the service area is available for those who need it — call 208-773-9582 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. the day before and leave a message. A suggested donation of $10 applies to meals.

General site hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. Dinner service runs from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and a special breakfast is available on Fridays from 7:30 to 10 a.m.

Weekly Menu Highlights

Monday, July 6: Crispy chicken salad with a garlic roll.

Tuesday, July 7: Spaghetti with meat sauce, broccoli, garlic bread, Caesar salad, and fruit.

Wednesday, July 8: Options vary by site and include spaghetti with side salad and garlic toast; chicken salsa with tomato soup, green salad, grapes, roll, and dessert; or meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn.

Thursday, July 9: A ham sandwich with potato salad, green salad, and fruit at some sites; sweet and sour chicken breast with pineapple, peppers, and onions over mixed rice, with a lettuce salad, dinner roll, fruit, and dessert at others.
